About Syston Syclers

Founded, back in 2014, we have a growing base of fun and loyal following of cycling enthusiasts – from people new to the sport to ex-racers, and plenty in-between.

We’re all about having fun whilst achieving your personal best, whatever that might be – gaining more confidence in a new sport to pushing yourself to smash the land speed record in lycra.

We get together on Saturday mornings leaving at 8:30am or 9am from the Old Chapel in Syston. At the moment there are four groups to cater for everyone’s goals – all of which include the obligatory café stop (with optional cake!).

But this is by no means all that we do. We already have a mid-week group going out every week. We’re planning to get involved in Sportives and would love to hold our own cycling event in the not too distant future. And this is just the start of our journey, so any ideas are always welcome.

So, we are currently tipping the scales at just over 90 members – a fairly small club with plenty of big ambition. Check out what we’re up to here or contact us for more information.

No matter what your cycling ambitions are get on board with us!
